It’s only been a month since I left Texas after 2 solid weeks of touring my brand new album Alone At Sea. But when I got the call to see if I would do the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, even this close to the “holidaze,” I really wanted to make it work. The answer: house concerts. To make the trip viable financially I contacted a couple folks I have done house concerts for before. One in Austin said “yep” in a hurry and I have a lot of fun at that one, and one said “…busy that month, but I know someone in San Antonio who might be interested.”
They said yes, and then I was good to go. Add a Christmas Party in Fulton w/Michael O’Connor, a workshop at Austin Bandcamp (still a few slots available but just a few), sit in with The Resentments Sunday night at The Saxon Pub, and play a few songs at a Center For Spiritual Living Central Texas service, ands my schedule is FULL. Oh, and I’ll be playing a radio show in College Station (KEOS 11am Monday).
As usual, I like to fill my time in Texas. Then I’ll fly home behind ‘the maple curtain’ and spend rest of the holiday with family.

Great show tonight good to see you. Ever met Wayne Ceballos? Hes the uncle of one of the Del Castillo guys and tickles a mean keyboard. Word is he actually opened for Jimi Hendrix at the Fillmore in the 60s. If you ever get a chance to meet him, ask him to play for you!
