Just a quick few notes — I know you haven’t heard from me in a bit.

I’ve been writing and writing for the album I am going to record in The Netherlands in October! This album in many ways is going to be a return to the blues and soul of my 2016 album SoulSlide. Backed by the critically acclaimed and famous Dutch band The Southern Aces, I am going to spend three full weeks recording in Utrecht, NL. I haven’t been across the pond (at least that pond) in many years. I can’t wait!

This coming weekend I will be performing at the 43rd Annual Sunshine Festival in Powell River, BC. Performing a solo show at Cranberry Hall on Friday evening, and then headlining with my maple-covered-all-flanel-Canadian band on Saturday night! Check out this outstanding lineup for this iconic and long-running festival at Palm Beach Regional Park.

Next up I’ll be returning to the Yellowstone Songwriter Festival in Cody, WY for 3 days. This is a wonderful festival. Last year I made a ton of friends and fans, but I also met a rather large handful of fellow songwriters I have stayed in touch with, recorded with, and co-written with since last year’s successful festival.

After that I’ll be heading to Montana for a few gigs both solo and with some dear friends Quenby Landiorio and Tom Catmull. Check below for all the dates and links to tickets and info.
